Hello for the last time folks
Today is the day I am leaving the USA. I got up, said goodbye to Eric and Darcie, Janette drove me to Margarethe's house were I said goodbye to her, Bob and Ellen and to Lisa who had come up to say goodbye. Unfortunately I did not get to say bye to Toni and Philip personally.
Anyway, then Janette got me to the airport. My plane was two hours late. how crazy is it to sit at the airport for 3 hours waiting for a 30 minutes flight?
I got to Atlanta eventually, had time to get something to eat and catch my flight that was on time. So there I was in the air thinking of all the awesome things I got to see, live and do, all the amazing people I got to meet and trying to figure out when I could come back.
A week ago I would have given a lot to be able to go home earlier. I had enough from the travelling around by myself and just wanted to be home in my bed and my shower. Now however, I am really sad to leave. It was so good to spend time with all of you and I really cant wait to come back to Tennessee/Alabame and also Texas to visit and spend time with all of you again.
REALLY BIG BIG BIG THANKS TO EVERYBODY HOW PUT ME UP AND ALSO PUT UP WITH ME! U ARE AWESOME! LOVE U ALL!!!
So this is the end of this journey but of course, the next one will be coming soon. The family is taking a trip to Berlin in the beginning of October so if u want to know what my crazy family and me are up to, stay tuned for the next blog (link will be posted on facebook before we leave).

September 1 2010 - Peanuts on the floor
Hello everyone,
So, this is already the first day of September, meaning I'm going home tomorrow. Darcie had to go back to work today which gave me all day to pack.
Janette made me a great breakfast, it really was good. Then I resumed watching Pride and Prejudice, we haven't managed to finish yesterday, while packing. I took a break when we went to lunch with Margarethe, Bob and Ellen to the place where Darcie and Hannah work. It's a steakhouse I thinkg.
When we got there I realised Darcie had not been joking about the fact that customers were allowed to throw peanuts or rather peanut shells on the floor. Food was great, peanuts too :)
On the way home we stopped at a home improvement store to get some things for Margarethe's house.
Back home I finished Pride and Prejudice, which was done when Darcie got home. Then we started watching the first season of Superman, the new adventures of Lois and Clark. I love this TV Show. It reminds me of Sunday morrnings when we were little. Me and my brothers would usually wake up before my parents, we weren't allowed to watch TV in the morrning so we would sneek downstairs to watch that TV Show. That was really fun!

August 31 2010 - Coffee Coffee Coffee
Hola amigos
Darcie and me slept till like 10am. We actually woke up by her cell ringing. Hannah was calling, she had just come back from I don't remember where and wanted to know if we wanted to meet up for brunch.
So a bit later, we pulled up at Hannahs, from there we went to a car cleaning place where she dropped of her car and got in with us. Next stop, brunch at a cute little restaurant, don't remember the name (Gosh what's with my memory today???). Food was awesome and the coffee much needed. Thank God for refills and they really do refill here I thinkg I had at least 8 cups.
Back at the car cleaner Hannah took her car and headed home while I got behind the wheel of Darcies car and drove us home. It's not an automatic so I actually can drive it :) I loved it, I hadn't been driving in like forever.
Back home Darcie made me watch the Princess Bride. I had never seen it before (although I do have it on DVD at home) and she said it was a must. I absolutely love it, definitly will be watching it again at home. Then we started watching the English 6 Part Pride and Prejudice Movie with Colin Firth. yep, definitly worth seeing.
When we got hungry we got ourselves some pizza and kept watching till we felt our eyes fall shutt.

August 30 2010 - Piercing ears
Hello again
So me and Katie got up early this morning. She had to leave to get to Nashville to go to her job interview.
First we loaded all of my stuff from Katie's to Darcie's car and then drove to Margarethe's house where Katie's parents were staying. We had breakfast there before Katie said her goodbyes and left for Nashville.
I got to visit with Margarethe till Darcie and Kayla picked me up. They had already dropped of all my stuff at Darcie's house. From here we went to Lisa's where Eric was waiting for us. We decided to meet up with Philip for lunch.
Kayla was leaving today so we had to get her to the airport. Before that though, we stopped at the mall because Darcie finally wanted to get her ears pierced and of course Kayla had to be there.
After that we dropped her off at the airport and puff she was gone. I really hope it wont be 2 years before I see her again.
Darcie and I went back home were we started watching Leap Year. Remember the DVD I absolutely had to get on the day of the wedding? Yeah, that was it. We had to take a break though cause we were all heading over to Margarethe where we had dinner with Lisa, Philip, Eric, Darcie, Janette, Ellen, Bob and of course Margarethe. It was soooooo much fun. This family is soooo crazy and I am so glad to be part of it :)
After finishing the movie, we decided it was time to go to sleep.

August 29 2010 - Girls Night In
Bonjour, Bonjour
Well today, no doubt I slep in after going to bed just earlier today. When I actually did wake up I had a horrible headache. Katie was getting ready to go visit Diamond, who had been moved to another place, with Lisa. I had planned to go with but I just couldn't. So after she left I went back to sleep.
Next time I woke up I realised one of my eyes was kind of swollen shut. Glad that happened after the wedding :)
I spent the day sleeping till Katie came back. She told me Kayla, Darcie and Christine were gonna come over tonight to watch movies and stuff. Sounds like fun.
That's also what happened. Kayla had to use the rest of her Henna and gave us all Henna tattoos, that girl is really talented. Thanks Kayla. Of course they all slept over on our wonderful mattras. It was awesome, just like camping. loads of fun!!!

August 26 2010 - Roadtrip!
Aloha everyone
So like I mentioned yesterday, the alarm clock went of at 12.30am. We got into the car and started our roadtrip, destination, Tennessee.
We took the first stop like 15 minutes into the journey to get gas. Then we were on the road. After a while, Katie started to feel she had only slept 90 minutes and I suggested taking a break at a gas station cause I was tired to and I was not going to sleep if she had to drive. And we had already established that I was unable to drive an automatic on my last visit to Chicago. So we stopped and slept for half an hour. Then we went on and repeted the whole thing an houer later. The third time we stopped I suggested sleeping till it would be light, it's easier driving in the daylight when ur tired than in the nighttime.
Our journey continued at about 6 o'clock. We stopped for breakfast and for gas once but that was it. On the road we listened to music and talked. eventually we started playing the States game. Meaning u have to list all fifty States in 7 minutes. I have never found a person who succeeded. Then we started to list all the state capitals, that was Katie's idea. We're crazy but we had fun and I dare say I learned something :)
We got to Nashville at atound noon. There we visited Katie's sister's family. Spent all afternoon there and had fun.
We left Nashville at around 5.30pm. We had to get to Ardmore or Huntsville, I'm still and always will be confused with what is where in Tennessee/Alabama. Anyway, tonight was Jacque's bacholorett party/ bridal shower. We stopped at Lisa's house first to pick up something to bring. It was really nice to see Philip, Toni and Lisa again, awesome in fact. For those who don't know, Lisa and Toni are Jacque and Philip's parents.
We met Jacque, Darcie (another cousin), Kayla (another cousin), Laura (Jacque's best friend) and Phelicia (Jacque's probably soon to be sister-in-law)in the restaurant where they had eaten (Mexican food yummy). From there we went to Laura's place for presents, cake, penis shaped cookies and so on...
Katie and I who were still very very tired left pretty soon. We drove to one of Lisa's appartment (she rents them). It was beyond nice of her to let us sleep there while Katie was there. Thanks again Lisa! I love the appartment, I love it so much I want to move there for a while! :) Well, once we were there it was finally sleeping time. Good night.

August 28 2010 - Walking down the aisle
Hello everyone,
The day has come, Jacque's wedding day's finally here. We started with breakfast at the hotel, then grabbed all our things, checked out and were on the road to the church. Katie and I stopped at blockbusters which was right on the way because i really had to get that dvd of a movie i had just found out that it would only be in cinemas back home in november so yeah i needed it.
The girls would actually get ready in the house right next to the church ehich is really cool cause there's a kitchen and also a real bathroom :)We also had a photographer with us. we had fun getting ready but it also took longer than planned so we were running a bit behind schedule.
Anyway, when we were all ready we went out to take pictures, which was cool although it was crazy hot outside, can't wait to see them.
Then it was time for the wedding. It was beautiful i even think the grooms men were all crying :)
Reception was fun, got to see Eric and Janette and we danced and the location was just gorgeous.

It was over at around 11. We decided that it wasn't time to go home yet so Philip, Eric, JB, Chris, Kayla, Darcie, Katie, Laura and me went to the movies. People looked at us a bit wierd, we were all still in the wedding clothes :) it really was fun though. We saw Vampire suck, it was the only thing playing so we did not really have a chice. we laughed a lot though.
After that, Philip, JB, Laura and I went to IHOP and had pancakes lol. really good at 3.30 in the morining. it was amazing. When we walked in some girls asked us if we went to prom. Yeah right, since when do girls go to prom in the same dresses?
Anyway. Laura drove home, JB did and Philip dropped me of at the appartment. Had to wake up Katie to get in. Sorry sweety! I was in bed at almost 5am. It really was an awesome day and I will never forget it!
