Hola again
Like I mentioned yesterday, Jacque's wedding is getting closer, in fact, it's only 10 days away. Meaning it was time to get the nails done. Honestly I am not the biggest fan of fake nails, which mainly has to do with the fact that they get in the way in the kitchen and of course also because back home it's like 4 times the price to get them done. I was looking forweard to have them done though. After 3 months of backpacking your nails usually look like crap so it was great to have them done while Melodye had a pedicure.
After that we stopped at Barnes and Nobles cause I still had to find the books for Melodye's birthday. Luckily they had them both and I think I was able to sneek them out without her seeing them.
We could both hear our stomach growling so we decided to have lunch at Wendy's.
Back home I checked mails and supprisingly found an answer from one of my mentors about my internship. If everything went her way I would have to start my internship on the 3rd of September which is the day I get back so there's no way I could do that. Still, I had been feeling a bit homesick so I decided to try and push my flight a day or two. Called the airline, unfortunately, they told me they could not do any changes on my ticket. To bad!
