July 29 2010 - Goal of the day: find the cups!!!

We finally went to the magic kingdom today! yay! Meaning: sleeping beautys castle, space mountain, parades,and my all time favourite ride: the peter pan ride.







It was really an awesome day and after we discovered the fastpass it got even better. A fastpass is a ticket you can get at the ride and it tells u to come back at a certain time and u wont have to stand in line anymore. It doesnt cost anything so i dont understand why not everybody is doing it.









We also went on the ride that inspired the pirates of the caribbean movies. Its calle, who would have guessed, pirates of the caribbean. It reminds me of the piraten von batavia ride in europa park. It really is a beautiful ride (maybe beautiful is the wrong word but i cant think of a better one right now :))












we also went into all the stores to find my cups but no luck. At least Fibs found the funny ones she wanted.




And also, we found the graduation hat Sandy wanted for Cass, of course we could not resist trying it on :)




At 9 there was a parade going on. When that happens the disney people close up some areas and if u want to watch u have to be in there. A guy who works there said that if we found a spot somewhere we could enter. We spottet a place where the two of us could stand easily and i went in first then i steped aside to let fabienne in and as soon as i did that the old couple in front of me turned around and said "we have no room here and this is our spot!" seriously who do they think they are? The owner of the street or what? I told them i would move aside abit as soon as my friend was in here too. They did not look happy about it but really who cared? Sometimes i feel like old people think they have the right to do anything and say anything to younger people just because they are old! The guys standing next to us looked at us smiled and we exchanged a few words. They didnt get the old couples problem eighter.
The parade was awesome!








After that we looked for a good spot to see the fireworks. They were the cherry on top of our amazing day here. Really! Perfectly synchronized with great music etc.







I was still missing my cups but the day was awesome and maybe ill find them manana :)
