Well, well, today started with a brunch. We drove to Guntersville where the wedding would take place tomorrow. First we went to wallmart where Katie had to get some stuff to finish Jacque and Michaels wedding present. Then we went to the church where woman from the church I guess, had organised a brunch for all the girls from yesterday and also the bride's and the groom's mothers. It was really nice, an opportunity to actually get to know all these people.
After brunch we headed to the senior center where the reception would be. We were joined by the wedding planner (Rosie) and Philip and all together we set up for the reception. We carried around glasses, plates, forks, knives, spoons, napkins, table clothes etc, moves tables and chairs, it was insane but i loved it and it looked beautiful once we were done. We also did some paper bouquets from the leftover wrapping paper from the bridal shower. We would need them for the rehersal.
After that we went back to wallmart too get the last thing for Katie's gift and then headed to the hotel where we would stay that night and share the room with Kayla and Darcie. I was looking forweard to it, we would have fun, of that I had no doubt.
Once in the room we chilled for a bit and then started getting ready for the rehersal dinner thing. I was a bit nervous cause I really had no idea how all this was working. I might have mentioned it before, weddings in Switzerland, WAYYYYYYY diffrent. I like the american way though. Also meeting so many new people had me a bit worried cause I'm usually very shy with strangers. Anyway.
The rehersal went over and now I understand why there has to be one. I still felt a bit insecure but with out the rehersal, we would all have been totally lost tomorrow, so thanks for the rehersal.
After work there is usually fun, which here came in the form of a dinner in the church basement. I can't even find words for how good that was!!! Really!!!
All the bridesmaids got a present from Jacque, A really cute bracelet with our initials ingraved that we would all be wearing for the wedding tomorrow. Thanks again Jacque I love it!
We got back to the hotel and ready for bed. There was no sleeping though, I at least(don't know bout u girls) really was totally overwhelmed by everything, the people the wedding just everything, but in a good way i think. I can't even start to imagine how Jacque must have felt.
We goofed around for a while before we were finally ready to fall asleep.
