July 30 2010 - Absolutely ridiculous (and i dont know how to spell this word :))

hello again

already the last day at disney, the magic is coming to an end :( we packed, checked out, stored our bags and had breakfast for the last time in the hotel's own food court before we took the bus to animal kingdom.




The first thing we did when we got there was go to the lion king show. We had wanted to go see the lion king broadway show in new york but we couldnt get tickets so at least we would se some of it here. We were a bit too late to get good seats for taking pics. What we did was enjoy the first show and then stay for the next one and of course move to better seats. It was breathtaking. We did not mind at all watching the whole thing twice in a row. We decided that the day the musical makes it to switzerland, we are so there.

We also saw the finding nemo show which was very different but just as good. I have to say, disney does a really great job here!

We also did a safari where we saw lions elephabts and girafs and we saw the yeti on the everest ride. The last thing we did was the rafting ride. We got soaked and i really mean it. But it was so hot today that we didnt mind and went again.

To conclude our stay, we went to downtown disney which is basically a little village with stores and restaurants. They also have the biggest disney store there and guess what: I FOUND MY CUPS!!!! YAY!!!

Back at the hotel we got our luggage and took a taxi to the greyhound busstation in Orlando. We had barely walked in there when security people stopped us. Before even getting a ticket they searched our luggage through and through and not only the carry on, no, also the bag that would go under the bus. I had never seen that before and i think Fibs has been shocked for life. I mean it is kind of gross when you know this guys dug through all ur stuff including ur underware! I guess this is the only place where these guys feel like they are somebody and they have to show everyone that they are the boss!

Anyway we still had like 3 hours to kill before my last greyhound ride would start.
