July 26 2010 - Going "affair to remember"

hey there

ok so we spend today without kirsten cause we got up very early because we had a lot to do.
After the Starbucks morning ritual we went to the american airlines office to see if i could change and/or get a refund on my tickets. The lady that helped me there was very nice and helpful. Turnd out ill lose one ticket (at least its the cheapest one) ill get money back for one in switzerland and i get a voucher for the third one so i was pretty happy when we left the office. Then we went to the beautiful public library to look at it and take some pics.
Then again like every day we stopped at abercrombie and fitch. Its worth going in there just to look at the beautiful people working in there smell the awesome parfume they spray everywhere (in fact u can smell abercrombie even if ur still a block away!) and to listen to the same 10 songs repeting theselves all day long. Really its an excperience nobody should miss! kirsten fabienne and i are so crazy about the parfum that we carry around those testing strip everywhere...

After the morning had passed rather quickly we started to feel hungry already. Today was chipotle day again that decision had ben made a while ago. So we walked around between 5th 6th and 7th avenue till we finally found one. We also bought the chips and guacamole to take to the park with us and eat there. When we were done eating we finally made it to central park. I love it there. Street performerc artists and musicians are one every corner. Theres something to see everywhere. We stopped at the gorgeous boatshouse where we had a couple of after birthday cosmopolitans. We kept walking around and eventually ate the chips.




Out of the woods again we thought it would be cool to go up the empire state building to see the sun set. When we got there we found out that apparently a lot of other people had had the same idea. The lines where huge but the view over the city in the dark is absolutely breathtaking. I just wish there would have been less people that way it was just fighting for the best spot not really enjoing. The whole thing took us over 3 hours. Crazy!





On the way back we stopped at bryant park. Why? Well three years ago somebody told me that the friends fountain was there (you know, the fountain the 6 friends dance in at the beginning of every episode) however during my last to new york visits i seemed unable to locate it and now, just walking by the park BOOM there it was. Of course we had to take pictures. We even stood in it :) awesome!



Needless to say we were tired after this busy day!
